HOW WE GIVE BACK

ABOUT US

From the beginning, Armanino has embodied a robust culture of giving back and supporting charitable organizations with donations of money and volunteerism. The Armanino Foundation was created in September 2016 to provide staff, partners and the Armanino firm, as well as clients, vendors and friends of the firm, a formal organization for community giving.

The mission of the Armanino Foundation is:
To assist charitable organizations that create a positive impact on the lives of people in our communities.

The foundation empowers Armanino’s team members to influence its impact based on their passions through community service, donations and service as leaders. Staff and partners from all the firm’s major offices and remote locations comprise the Grants Committee, Volunteer Vacations Committees and the 3-member board that carry out the Armanino Foundation mission.

DONATE

The Armanino Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and its Taxpayer Identification Number (EIN) is 81-2649898. All donations made payable to the Armanino Foundation are tax-deductible. We offer four ways for staff, partners and friends of the firm to donate.

Sustaining Donors

For Armanino team members, we offer the ability to make a recurring payroll deduction. This type of donation shows your ongoing support for the Armanino Foundation and all payroll deductions are included in our special donation drives, such as the Hurricane Harvey relief effort in 2017. Complete the Armanino Foundation Payroll Deduction Form. (It takes less than 30 seconds.)

One-Time Donors:

Three options are available for staff, partners, family and friends of the Armanino Foundation.

1) Complete the One-Time Donation Form and mail it along with a check to the Armanino Foundation. The mailing address is included on the form

2) Donate by debit or credit card: https://squareup.com/store/armanino-foundation.

3) Donate appreciated stock. This is one of the most tax-efficient ways to donate because capital gains taxes are saved when the stock is donated to the Armanino Foundation. Contact Mary Tressel for the appropriate paperwork – mary.tressel@armaninollp.com.

GRANTMAKING

To accomplish its mission, the Armanino Foundation focuses its charitable giving and activities on the following four areas:

• Education
• Health & Social Services
• Animal Welfare
• Arts

The Armanino Foundation is primarily a grant-making organization. The Grants Committee evaluates recipients on the following criteria: they must be in good standing with the IRS and related governing authorities, as well as provide services or programming in one of the four areas of interest. Some of these charitable organizations are clients of the firm. All grant recipients are selected from grant applications submitted only by employees and partners of Armanino LLP.

Armanino Staff: Complete the Armanino Foundation Grant Nomination Form to nominate

Armanino Partners: Complete the Partner Sponsorship Form to recommend
a contribution to a charitable organization.

VOLUNTEER VACATIONS

Beyond its focus on charitable giving, the Armanino Foundation also organizes Volunteer Vacations. Volunteer Vacations take the concept of the firm’s Great Give event beyond a single day and extend our community-building goodwill across the globe and for a longer period of time (for example, 3-7 days at a time). The Armanino Foundation recognizes that many of our team members are looking for alternative ways to give back locally and globally. This unique program is open to all employees and partners, as well as their family and friends, in all offices and remote locations. In 2017, Armanino teammates and family members traveled to Catalina Island to support the environmental efforts of the Catalina Island Conservancy and to Dallas, to help F.A.R.M. (Farmers Assisting Returning Military) to build an urban farm that offers job training to veterans.
